The Loser’s Martingale Roulette System

There are many systems devised to beat online roulette gambling systems. Most of these systems are not effective. For systems to be referred to as effective, they should be a system that can win, at least a certain percentage of spins. According to research done on systems that can supposedly beat online roulette, the most popular systems are the Labouchere and Martingale. Both these systems are based on the principle that a gambler that continuously plays on the roulette will never go home empty-handed provided that he doubles up his previous lost bet. Between these two well-known systems, the Labouchere system and the Martingale, the latter is considered to be simpler, as you are just supposed to simply double your bet with each spin.

First, I don’t recommend either the Labouchere system or the Martingale – especially not the latter – you’ll lose your bank roll within no time. However, I think they should be mentioned on a site that is discussing systems. The idea behing the Martingale system in that you bet on one of the even bets on the wheel, such as red/black or low/high. Everytime you lose, you double your bet until you win, then you start again. This is the WORST roulette system that you could ever use and casinos love it when a player turns up to play this system. The reality is casino table limits will not allow you to double your bet more than about 7 times max, and you could easily lose 10 or many more times in a row.

For example, you bet $5 on black and you lose.
Your next bet is $10. You lose again.
You double up again and your next bet is $20.
You kose again Now your wager is $40. You lose again.
Your next wager is $80. Another loss
Your next bet is $160 which is just 40 dollars under the table limit.
You lose yet again – you next bet should be $340, but it is over the table limit, so you are screwed.

In the video below a player demonstrates on Dublinbet what is likely to happen if you play the Martingale system.
